From Jason:
I bought a used Kolar in 2017 from a dealer that claimed the gun was in “like new” condition. I really liked the ‘American
Made’ base behind the brand, so I made the purchase. A couple months later, I went to the Kolar booth at the Cardinal Center to get an opinion on my purchase and to have the gun looked over.
I met Jeff Mainland, (whose father founded Kolar) and I was greeted with a big smile and an eagerness to help! He went
through my gun and while doing so, he took the time to get to know me. I was blown away how much he treated me like family!
Keep in mind, at this time I was only a B
class shooter, and this was 3 years before
we had even thought about the podcast!
I was a nobody!
That level of customer service continues to
this day. I watch them treat every customer
with respect, an eagerness to help, and fast service! Each customer gets the same treatment, regardless of how much money they spend. This is what customer service should be! They have a genuine commitment to quality, and their customers. This is what makes Kolar the epitome of customer service in the shotgun world!
I am proud of my American made Kolar!
From Kolar:
Working with The Dead Pair Podcast has honestly been a great experience. Jason is one of those people who genuinely cares about what he’s building and the people around him. He’s dedicated, hardworking, and always willing to help however he can without expecting anything in return.
What makes it even better is that it never feels overly corporate or forced. It’s professional when it needs to be, but it’s also fun, relaxed, and built around friendship and trust. You can tell Jason puts a lot of time, effort, and passion into the podcast, and that energy makes people want to be part of it.
Being involved with The Dead Pair Podcast feels less like work and more like collaborating with good people on something everyone actually enjoys creating together.
His following is extensive and well earned. We are glad to be a part of it!
